Artero Romeo - Soft card
Carde Romeo Artero — bamboo slicker brush, sizes M and L (11 mm bristles)
Benefits
The Carde Romeo Artero is a professional slicker brush designed for effective detangling while respecting the skin. Its ergonomic bamboo handle offers a precise, non-slip grip that reduces wrist fatigue during extended use. The "Air Cushion" beneath the 11mm fine bristles allows the tips to conform to the body's curves and absorb pressure: you cover more surface area with each stroke while reducing the risk of irritation. The flexible yet responsive bristles catch knots and open the hair strand by strand, resulting in a more stretched and voluminous look for medium to long coats, including sensitive areas (chest, underarms, breeches). As a finishing touch, they restore bounce to blow-dried or brushed fur. The lightweight, durable, and pleasant-to-the-touch bamboo body balances the brush head for smooth and precise brushing. Petdesign.fr, We offer the Carde Romeo in two sizes useful on a daily basis, M and L, in order to adapt the head width to the morphology of the animal and the working area, from the cat or small dog to the large breed.
Use
Always work on dry or very slightly damp fur using a suitable conditioning spray. Gently stretch the skin with your free hand to stabilize the area. Brush using a "line brushing" technique: lift a thin layer of fur, then make short, even strokes in the direction of the hair growth, all the way to the base. Let the air cushion do its work; don't press too hard to avoid skin irritation. For localized knots, start at the tip of the knot, working your way up gradually without pulling. Alternate brushing and combing to ensure there are no snags. The medium size (11 x 6 cm) is ideal for narrow areas, the head, legs, or smaller coats; the large size (12 x 8 cm) is effective for backs, flanks, and larger areas. As a finishing touch, a few light strokes will add lift and volume before trimming with scissors. After use, remove any hair stuck between the bristles with a cleaning comb, then disinfect by spraying; avoid soaking the bamboo.
