It is very easy to use and maintain. It is puncture resistant and can be washed with a damp cloth or wipe. And it won't take up much space when you need to put it away.
The inside of the mat is made of a gel that changes from solid to liquid and vice versa, depending on Room temperature. This gel works by absorbing your pet's body heat. The absorption process can be maintained for up to 6-8 hours straight. When your pet leaves the mat, the gel expels heat and re-solidifies (and therefore cools) in about 15 minutes.
It can be used directly on the floor, as the gel inside provides a soft surface.
